Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a strategy for achievement and personal change, using the power of the mind, language and senses to get what you want out of life. NLP Coaching utilises these powerful techniques in a coaching environment to help you achieve the change you want for yourself.
How NLP Coaching Helps
It is not what happens to you but how you respond that matters. NLP coaching, together with hypnotherapy (where appropriate), helps you to take responsibility for your feelings and behaviours and to bring about positive change. Other people don't make us happy or unhappy - we can only do that for ourselves and to believe otherwise is like giving your power away. NLP Coaching helps you to take that power back.
History of NLP
At the heart of NLP coaching is a wide range of methods and models based on the work of of such eminent psychotherapists as Fritz Perls (the developer of Gestalt Therapy), Virginia Satir (the pioneer of family therapy), and Milton Erickson (a medical doctor who made his name as a hypnotherapist) to create understanding, to bring about positive change and to empower individuals to achieve. NLP Coaching for You
NLP coaching works wonderfully to ascertain your goals and help you move towards them, building on your existing resources and discovering new ones. I have a background in executive coaching, but it works just as well with people who want to achieve goals in their personal lives.
